The After Care
After your tattoo session, a Saniderm Bandage will be placed on top of your new tattoo for protection. The recommended time before taking it off is usually 5 to 7 days. It is completely normal for blood or fluids to bubble up under the bandage.

To remove Saniderm, find an edge and pull it in the direction of hair growth. We do not recommend pulling the bandage upward as it may cause pain during removal. We strongly suggest removing Saniderm while taking a warm bath. The steam and warm water can definitely help loosen the adhesive for an easier removal. Do not use washcloth, loofah or sponge to clean your tattoo to prevent irritation and infection.

Lastly, always use unscented lotion to keep the area moisturized during the scabbing period.
If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact the shop or your artist.
